As a modern quilter for more than a decade I have loved mixing traditional influences into my work and creating things that blend the two styles together. I also love bag making, cross stitch, and designing sewing patterns for beginners.
I’m a modern quilter with a passion for bright colours, bold designs, happy stripes and fresh florals. I have an obsession with the most intricate paper piecing while simultaneously ignoring all the quilting rules that don’t suit my style. I live by the motto if it makes your heart sing, you are on the right path.
I'm a crafter, designer, and cosplayer. I love to make amazing costumes to show my love for my many fandoms, then go show it off at a convention or in a competition. Gimme some Star Wars concept art, fabric, and glue then I will create film magic right before your eyes!
Sewist / Bags
I’m a self-taught sewist of 10 years, love making pouches, wallets & wristlets. Adore patchwork & I create most of my own designs & patterns. I enjoy photography, I’m a bookworm, coffee addict, love spending time with my family & my cats.
I am a self taught quilter and love bringing my whimsical designs to life using fabric and thread. I am also part of the Marcus Fabrics design team.
You'll find me either working on something scrappy or prints that are high in color saturation, and I love to sew the rainbow.

I love to upcycle because it's a constant challenge to repurpose and come up with design ideas. Leather is my favourite material to work with since it's so durable and has usually had a long life before I get it, and then I get to give it a whole new purpose. To take something that you're not using, and turn it into something beautiful, and useful, is empowering.
I enjoy so many different crafts. Everything from gardening to home renovation. I love all things fabric and thread: quilting, embroidery, bag making, wool work and hand stitching. The fine details and crisp corners make me happy. I write patterns to encourage people to use and expand their skill set. My goal is to build your crafty confidence! There’s love infused into everything I make:)
I call myself the Mad Color Scientist. I think that is because I like to experiment with colors, designs, and various combinations of both. I am never really sure how things will come out, but I love playing with those elements. My medium is mostly fabric and fiber - occasionally paper, paint, and wood as well. Quilting is my Main Gig.
